His discussion of the Biblical record shows that the Bible is explicit and accurate in its description of the works of Satan and his activities, and is consistent and relevant even to today’s societal trends and events, and exposes the disbelief of today’s Christians of the full extent of the relevance of the Biblical (and spiritual) world view today. Through this, he reveals Satan’s attempts to derail the redemptive work of Jesus Christ during His ministry, by use of his control and offering of Earth’s kingdoms, rulers and political offices, a means he continues to use to corrupt ambitious humans today to trap them into his agenda and purposes. As an example, he explains that Madison Avenue advertising is but one form of how messages are imprinted onto (or “marketed to”) citizens today, and that what passes for “news” is actually a world view and message that is carefully packaged for acceptance by the masses, delivered by a select few with financial, political and other interests. He furthermore explains how much of what we understand about the world and its issues are received indirectly by such means, rather than by direct (and more reliable) personal experience. He explains the philosophical fundamentals of the requirement to incorporate spiritual dynamics into the pure physical (or scientific) explanations for the events that occur in the world today, which is often forgotten by today’s Christians. In spite of his diligence and reliance on Scripture, he has encountered considerable criticism from other Christian teachers and laity who are concerned about its challenges to long-established doctrinal positions. In this compelling interview, while laying out his position via Scripture, he is careful to distinguish our secure position as Christians of eternal life and salvation (espousing an “eternal security” position), and what he believes to be a conditional promise of rescue from the great Tribulation, for those who truly seek to obey Christ’s commands, and be found about the “Master’s business” at His return.
