CO-HOST TOM BIONIC DISCUSSES HIS LIFE JOURNEY FROM THE STUDY OF COMPARATIVE RELIGIONS UNTIL HE EMBRACED THE REALITY OF JESUS CHRIST, ON THE 11 - 15 MAY 09 “FUTURE QUAKE” RADIO PROGRAMS

Nashville, TN – “Future Quake” radio show co-host “Tom Bionic” discusses his life journey through his upbringing while surrounded by negative Christian influences, his subsequent search for truth amongst the world's religions, and a final reasoned acceptance of the Resurrection and the Christian faith, with host “Doctor Future”, airing daily during the week of 11 May on the “Future Quake” program, broadcast on the Christian talk radio station WENO, 760 AM in Nashville, TN (and archived at www.futurequake.com). In this unique show, this expose of the biography of “Future Quake” co-host “Tom Bionic” reveals the influences in life that has led to Tom's individualistic perception of the Christian faith and the world in general, which regularly leads to stimulating discussions on air with “Doctor Future” (and his mid-American, traditional Evangelical influences), and creates the interesting dichotomy of perceptions that permeates every “Future Quake” interview and discussion. In this introspective interview, Tom reveals his West Coast, Bay Area influences growing up, including his initial negative encounters with cultural Christianity, and the pervasive New Age world view that is reflected in many aspects of that region of the country. Within this distinctively 'non-”Bible Belt”' environment, Tom expresses his eventual revelation that there was absolute truth, and that it is something worthy to be pursued. Throughout the subsequent stage of his life, Tom discusses his detailed, logical study of each of the world's major religions, bolstered by his intensive academic study of the tools of logic and reason, which led to his determination of the faulty facets of alternative belief systems, and that the answers to our reality hinged on the ramification of the teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Tom explores a number of alternative explanations for the disappearance of Christ's body, and reveals why he believes a true resurrection is the only reasonable explanation of the evidence that has been preserved, as further supported by the faithful witness of the Apostles to the reality of the Resurrection, even when resulting in their martyrdom, alone in the remote parts of the world. Tom concludes with a personal, heartfelt explanation of what his Christian faith has meant to him since then, as well as an appeal for all listeners to embrace a saving faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work, if they have not yet done so, while there is still yet time.

“Future Quake”, hosted by “Doctor Future”, is a daily Christian interview and news review radio program, focusing on issues and events that will soon impact our collective futures. It features interviews with international experts on the topics covered (such as recent guests Alvin Toffler, Joseph Farah and Dr. Jerome Corsi), with constructive, intellectual discussions intended to better inform the public and provide useful information to prepare for the days ahead. It airs each weekday at 4 PM on WENO, 760 AM in Nashville, TN, the most popular Christian talk station in Middle Tennessee, and extending into much of the Mid-South. For those that miss the live broadcast, prior shows are archived in .mp3 format for listening on demand at www.futurequake.com, or available as a podcast (under “future quake”) at I-Tunes (www.itunes.com).
